MuCap

MuCap (µCap) is a software package for economic experiments enabling experimenters to analyze the emotional states of subjects using z-Tree and FaceReader™.

The package is easy to implement and requires very little additional effort from experimenters. At the same time, the link between video footage and experimental data is extremely precise, with a delay of only a few milliseconds.

The software has been developed since 2014 and is written in Visual C#. The current version is 1.0 and was released on May 12, 2015.

µCap is free of charge for academic purposes only. This includes academic research of students and faculty at publicly accredited universities. The only condition for using µCap is that its use be mentioned in any scholarly publication or presentation and that the companion paper be cited (you can find the paper here). Please see the license file for details.
